OUTDOOR SESSIONS

We would love to create amazing outdoor portraits for you and your family! Our outdoor sessions can be used for family, maternity or high school senior sessions! We will work with you to pick out and select the best location for your style and vision. We have access to many photography locations and are also available for travel. We are available to photograph both during the week and on the weekends and typically photography 1-2 hours prior to sunset. Weekend availability is NOT AVAILABLE during peak wedding months (April-June, Sept-Nov). Due to the increase in gas prices, we charge a flat $50 fee plus mileage when traveling outside a 20 mile radius of North Wilkesboro, NC.

NEWBORNS + MATERNITY

We will capture your little one within 5-20 days after birth inside our studio. We have invested a lot in custom outfits, props, blankets, and wraps over the years and have an extensive collection that we will use during your session. When you book a newborn session with us, we also offer you the option of adding on Family/Sibling Photos as well as a Maternity Session!
We only photograph newborn sessions between the hours of 9am-2pm Monday-Friday. Due to our experience photographing newborns, we do NOT schedule sessions after 2pm. Newborns tend to be fussier and do not sleep as well after this time of day.
We do not travel or do in-home newborn sessions, everything is done inside our studio (please see lifestyle newborn session if you're interested in at at-home session "look")
**IMPORTANT: We are 100% FULL and not taking any other newborn due dates until after September 1st 2022. To be added to our wait list incase of a cancellation or to be possibly worked in, please contact us!**
NEWBORN SESSION | 695
Our Newborn Session includes portraits of your newborn on multiple color coordinated blankets with hats, props, outfits and more! We will attempt to do advanced poses during this session (froggy, bucket poses). We will use approximately 3-5 backdrops in your specified color choices and includes an array of floor/bowl/bucket/swing images too. Babies are requested to be less than 20 days old but we have had a lot of success photographing babies up to a month old too!

Our Newborn Mini Session is the perfect option for those who want a shorter and more simple session. We will use approximately 1-2 backdrops in your specified color choices. No advanced poses for this type of session and no props will be used. This is a great option for newborns who may be older than the suggested 20 days since babies do not need to be as flexible for this style session!

Love the look of a lifestyle at-home newborn session? We have a gorgeous natural light studio loft across the street from our main photography studio where we can do more candid and intimate photographs of you and your newborn swaddled and wrapped. This style session does require parents to hold the baby most of the time but we will also get some photos of baby alone. This is a great option as we have the most wonderful natural light in this studio space!

One of our favorite sessions; the cake smash session is 100% customized for your child! We work with you one on one to create the most elaborate and colorful set with your child’s birthday theme. Price includes custom backdrop, all decorations and custom professional cake. You keep all paper products and specialty items that we purchase exclusively for your session (these are perfect to reuse at your child's Birthday Party!) Clients are responsible for purchasing their child's outfit and any personalized props. Due to the amount of time the cake smash takes as well as the setup/breakdown time, we will only focus on this setup and will not offer additional backdrop or setup options.

When should I book my session?
We typically book outdoor sessions 3-6 months in advance. For newborn and maternity sessions, we highly recommend booking in the beginning of your second trimester to make sure we have room on our calendar for your due date. For cake smash sessions, due to all the planning and custom work that we do, we recommend booking those around 6 months in advance.
How do payments work?
Once you have selected your session type, we will send you an online Session Agreement Form to fill out. Once we have this form back, we will send you the $100 deposit invoice. Payments need to be made as soon as possible as dates are not held without a deposit. We will send you a second invoice for the remainder of your session which must be paid by your session date or due date.
Where will my session take place?
Newborn, Cake Smash and Studio Sessions take place at our studio in North Wilkesboro, NC while Family Sessions take place outdoors at an agreed upon location.
How long will it take until I can see my final images?
For any any session with us, images are usually ready within 7-14 days. We never ever want to feel rushed editing images so we always ask for our clients to refrain from emailing or calling us to see if their images are ready since we do list this timeframe in our session agreement form.
Are digital images included with my session?
Yes, each session includes high-resolution digital images with print release. These will be sent to you via a downloadable link. If you would like to purchase one of our Glass USB's we do have those available for an additional cost.
Do I need to bring anything to my session?
For Outdoor Sessions you do not need to bring anything but your beautiful family! You are always welcome to bring any special props, blankets or chairs you would like for us to incorporate.
For Newborn Sessions you do not need to bring any props our outfits as we have a large collections of props at the studio. You are welcome to bring special items you have purchased or that are meaningful to you. We will discuss styles and colors for your session prior to your scheduled session and we will have everything ready to go upon your arrival at the studio!
For Maternity Sessions, we have a variety of dresses you are welcome to wear for your session or you can purchase your own. You are encouraged to visit the studio to try on dresses prior to your session. Our goal is that you feel beautiful and comfortable during your session – pregnancy is such a beautiful experience and we want you look back on this time with a smile.
For Studio Sessions, we do have a small collection of outfits that will fit 3-9 month old children. You are welcome to use any of our items, but most bring their own and we use a mix of both.
For Cake Smash Sessions you will need to bring the outfit, banner any specific or custom props you wish and we will provide the rest! We will work with you to create a custom set that includes a backdrop, custom cake, props, balloons, pom poms and anything else that we need to fit in with the birthday theme.
